Hey! Hows it going? Hope you are having a great Monday! How was the weekend, anything exciting happen?
This weeks Show me your Fit was quieter than usual.. anyone awake out there?!
Becky, being a rockstar as per usual, survived the final crossfit open workout, but not without scraped shins!
She also did workout one of the Zcut Power Cardio Series. Sweaty mess in 5-4-3-2-1
So I had a pretty good week fitness-wise! Here’s my Fit
You can see my recap of all my workouts here, but this weekend we did a bit of walking. Saturday we went out twice, Starbucks was calling our name. Then Sunday, we needed a few groceries, and I was wanting a London Fog so bad.. hadn’t had one in forever.
Got a long run planned for this afternoon! Minus temperatures will NOT scare me away. I live in Saskatchewan and I’m tough damnit!
Edit: Scratch that, no long run. Instead I biked 8.5miles (13.7km) to work this morning in -17C/1F. And I will be biking about the same distance hope today! I still can’t feel my legs….

Here’s my last week in workouts!
Monday: 1 mile on the treadmill, wasn’t feeling so hot
Tuesday: 4.1 miles; some elliptical but mostly incline walking on the treadmill (12%)
Thursday: I was feeling down and bad about myself, and my recent weight gain. But luckily I have some absolutely AMAZING friends out there, that helped cheer me up. Then this happened.
Plus a 600m swim after.
Friday: Well it snowed more… UHG! But I decided to tough it out and be a real Saskatchewan girl and did this….
At least the temperature was more mild than it has been lately. Going against the wind sucked, but with it was a breeze!
Total Miles: 16 (plus 600m swim)
Total Calorie Burn: 1624 (plus an undetermined amount from swimming)

April – my first niece was born. so blessed.
May – 1st half marathon
July – first trip to BC
October – joined a triathlon swim class
December – passed my theory exam with Canfitpro for my Personal Trainer certification
Also in 2012, I explored the paleo diet, and now am exploring veganism.
