I stayed on track with fitness this week! Recap time of what I did:
Monday – Stairmaster 10minutes. Assisted pull-up and Chest Press. Treadmill walk 10 minutes – Finally getting over my cold. Chest was burning doing the stairs though. Easing back into it.
Tuesday – Stairmaster warmup 5 minutes. Treadmill intervals 3 mile training run. (walked at 4mph, and ran at 5.5mph, 6mph, 6.5mph, 7mph)
Wednesday – Stairmaster warmup 5minutes. Treadmill 1.5mile training run, 0.5 mile walk/cool down. Leg extension and Leg curl. And foam rolled.
Thursday – Stairmaster 10 minutes. Close Grip Lat Pulldown, Shoulder Press and Abs (Russian Twist on bosu with medicine ball)
Friday – 3.1 mile training run.
As of this moment, I have no idea if I could ever run a marathon. I’m just getting back into running and being serious about training, and its so dang hard. Anyone else have this?? I am doubting myself tremendously. I know if I can’t run a full marathon, I will just run the half marathon in May 2014. I just hope I can overcome this feeling. I hope with training, it will get easier. Any tips??
